To improve the quality of service to the public, the Museum of Ixelles has acquired a new tool courtesy of GuestViews that combines a visitors book with a statistical device.
Your Opinion? Your favorite exhibition? Let us know!

GuestViews reinvents the relationship between museums and their audience by allowing users to share the highlights of their visit via a tactile tablet. The device gives visitors an occasion to freely express themselves by commenting on their visit, choosing their favorite part of the exhibition and sharing that experience on social media.
Visitors also develop a special bond with the institution by undertaking a short audience survey. The collected information allows museums to paint a clear picture of their audience and understand user needs better. Finally, personalized messages ensure these visitors receive relevant information and keep informed about the museum’s upcoming events.
By putting visitors back at the heart of museums, GuestViews turn them into the institutions’ best ambassadors!

Initiated by the Brussels Museums Council and VisitBrussels, the Museum of Ixelles has joined with the enterprise Brussels Let's Go! Following the recent events that have troubled the Belgian capital, the cultural organizations of the city have decided to hold a call to action to reaffirm their key role in the daily life of its inhabitants and visitors. As such, the Museum of Ixelles has rallied to the cause to offer a large-scale public participation photo competition. With the hashtag #letsgobrussels, visitors to many Brussels institutions can post a selfie of their cultural outing with the chance to win a year of culture!  Just share a photo of yourself with the hashtag #letsgobrussels via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.  The selfie that receives the most likes will be offered two tickets for every institution participating in the event.
